How Many Quarts In a Gallon





In the United States, there are 4 quarts in a gallon. This is a straightforward conversion factor, so to convert from gallons to quarts, you simply multiply the number of gallons by 4. To convert from quarts to gallons, you divide the number of quarts by 4.

Steps to convert from gallons to quarts:
